Dog Park

In late 2022, we officially kicked off fundraising for our next large construction project! Dugas Community Park will become home to Allen County’s first off-leash Dog Park.  The plans for the dog park include a two acre small dog area, a four and a half acre large dog area, agility exercise items for each area, seating and  the Billie P. Hatcher Pavilion. The park will also be our first amenity constructed within the Pretty Woods section of the park along US 31E! Give our office a call at 270.622.4029 if you would like to request more information.

Tree House Village

The Tree House Village is sure to be a unique addition to the park. It will allow kids of all ages to experience life in the trees!  The Tree House Village will allow visitors to learn about the life cycle of trees, their many uses throughout their life and after harvesting.

Stable and Horse Riding Trails

Horses have been a constant with the Dugas family and at the Dugas Farm. We look forward to continuing this tradition by offering a riding stable and miles of trails just waiting for you to saddle up and see the park.

Mountain Bike Trails

Another amenity for the thrill seekers-mountain biking trails with elevation changes to challenge any rider. If the trails are popular when constructed, Dugas Park might be able to open Allen County’s first bicycle shop!

Farmers Market

Dugas Community Park is excited to announce its partnership with the Allen County Farmers Market. We are currently pursuing grant funding, as well as accepting donations, for the Farmers Market structure. The Farmers Market will provide access to locally grown foods, seasoning and value added commodities. It is a great link to our rural heritage and to continue farming aspects within Dugas Community Park.
