Amphitheater and Pavilion
The amphitheater and pavilion will be sited in Dumont Hill Park. Currently in design, the amphitheater will seat between one and two thousand spectators. The venue will be perfect for concerts, community plays, musical showcases and arts workshops.
The pavilion should be available for rental by the fall of 2018. Current
designs allow seating for at least 70 people with enclosed restroom facilities, a kitchen area, as well as an adjacent playground. This is ideal for weddings, family gatherings, class reunions and birthday parties.
We will begin taking reservations for the amphitheater and pavilion when construction is near completion.
Dugas Community Park is excited to announce its partnership with the Allen County Farmers Market. We are currently pursuing grant funding, as well as accepting donations, for the Farmers Market structure. The Farmers Market will provide access to locally grown foods, seasoning and value added commodities. It is a great link to our rural heritage and to continue farming aspects within Dugas Community Park.
Stable and Horse Riding Trails
Horses have been a constant with the Dugas family and at the Dugas Farm. We look forward to continuing this tradition by offering a riding stable and miles of trails just waiting for you to saddle up and see the park.
Tree House Village
The Tree House Village is sure to be a unique addition to the park. It will allow kids of all ages to experience life in the trees! The Tree House Village will allow visitors to learn about the life cycle of trees, their many uses throughout their life and after harvesting.
Mountain Bike Trails
Another amenity for the thrill seekers-mountain biking trails with elevation changes to challenge any rider. If the trails are popular when constructed, Dugas Park might be able to open Allen County’s first bicycle shop!
