Administrative Staff
Brittany Fisher, Executive Director, received her B.S. in Geography-Land Use and Environmental Planning from Western Kentucky University and her Masters of Urban Planning-Land Use and Environmental Planning and Planning Administration from the University of Louisville. Mrs. Fisher was co-project manager for the Elizabethtown Nature Park Phase I during her employment at the City of Elizabethtown. She looks forward to creating an experience just as unique in Scottsville for everyone to enjoy!
Nancy McGuire, Part-time Administrative Assistant, is a professional tax preparer and office manager for the local H&R Block franchise. Mrs. McGuire lends her decades of office experience to the park during the off season for taxes which happens to coincides with the park’s busiest season!
Taylor Carter, Service First Scholar Intern, is a WKU student that is working with the park as part of a program with WKU and the United Way of Southern Kentucky.
Grounds Keeping and Maintenance
Matt Hancock, Supervisor, is the man with many unique hats that works throughout the park. He is a former employee of General Electric and A. O. Smith as well as Dugas Farms KY. Mr. Hancock has invaluable knowledge base as he grew up roaming the park’s bounds with the Dugas boys.
Rusty Hinton is another valuable employee that transitioned to the park from Dugas Farms KY. His knowledge of the grounds and horses is an asset.
Gene Calvert is the grounds keeping and maintenance’s newest employee becoming full time in January of 2022. He has added a bit of versatility to the crew and we look forward to his growth with the park.
