What amenities are available for rent at Dugas Community Park?

We currently offer rentals for the Dumont Hill Pavilion, the Amphitheater, the Foster Dugas Memorial Oxbow Campground (for designated nonprofit groups only,) the paved Benjamin Harrison Loop, and general open grass space for special events. Each space has its own features and intended use.

How do I make a reservation?

To reserve a space, please contact our office by calling (270) 622-4029 or filling out the contact form online.

Is a deposit required to reserve a space?

Yes. A refundable security deposit and a signed rental agreement are required to secure your reservation. Full payment is due 30 days prior to your event.

Can I host a private party or celebration at the park?

Yes! The Dumont Hill Pavilion is a popular space for birthday parties, family reunions, and community gatherings. Please note that amplified music, inflatables, and large-scale events require special permission or additional insurance.

Are restrooms available for rented spaces?

Yes. There is a public restroom available at the Dumont Hill Pavilion. There are additional private restrooms available for an additional fee. Campground rentals may not have immediate access to facilities, as the Oxbow Campground is a primitive site(for designated non-profit groups only).

What is the policy for nonprofit or community organizations?

We proudly support mission-driven work. Discounted rates are available with proof of 501(c) designation. Additionally our Foster Dugas Memorial Oxbow Campground is reserved exclusively for nonprofit groups.

What is your weather or cancellation policy?

Cancellations made more than 7 days in advance may be eligible for a full or partial refund. Weather-related cancellations are handled on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us directly to discuss your situation.

Can I rent multiple areas of the park at once?

Yes! Depending on availability, you can reserve more than one space (for example, both the Amphitheater and the Pavilion) to accommodate larger events or multiple activities.

Is alcohol allowed at rental events?

Yes, but any event with alcohol requires additional insurance to be purchased by the renter.

Are pets allowed at rental events?

Pets are welcome in the park as long as they are leashed and under control at all times. Please clean up after your animals and be mindful of other guests.

Reservations and Important Requirements

Ampitheatre $100 per hour minimum of 2 hours.
Pavilion $100 per hour minimum of 2 hours

Reservations are first-come. To express your interest and establish your place in line, please complete the form below. A park representative will follow up with your rental agreement and invoice.
A damage deposit check equal to 50% of your rental fee is required to secure your reservation.
- Deposit is required 10 business days of booking.
- Deposit checks are held and not cashed unless damage occurs or return standards are not met.
- If no issues are reported, your check will be voided and securely destroyed.
Full payment is required 30 days prior to the date of rental, before your reservation is finalized.
- Payment methods include check, or cash.
If the full rental fee is not paid, your reservation and deposit will be forfeited. If your event is open to the public, you must provide a Certificate of Insurance that includes:
- General Liability Coverage:
  - $1,000,000 per occurrence
  - $2,000,000 aggregate
  - Minimum of $1,000 in medical payments
- Waiver of Subrogation
  - Friends of Dugas Community Park Inc. listed as Additional Insured
  - If alcohol will be served, the following are also required:
    - Liquor Liability Insurance matching the general liability limits
    - Waiver of Subrogation
    - Friends of Dugas Community Park Inc. listed as Additional Insured
    - Alcohol must be served by a licensed or certified bartender, as required by Kentucky law
    - ID checks must be conducted to ensure all guests are of legal drinking age
    - Failure to meet payment, insurance, or alcohol service requirements may result in cancellation of your reservation and forfeiture of your damage deposit.
