Q: What amenities are available for rent at Dugas Community Park?
A: We currently offer rentals for the Dumont Hill Pavilion,the Open-Air Amphitheater, the Foster Dugas Memorial Oxbow Campground (for designated nonprofit groups only,) the paved Parrott Rifle Loop, and general open grass space for special events. Each space has its own features and intended use.

A: To reserve a space, please contact our office by calling (270) 622-4029 or filling out the contact form online.
Q: Is a deposit required to reserve a space?
A: Yes. A refundable security deposit and a signed rental agreement are required to secure your reservation. Full payment is due 30 days prior to your event.

Q: Can I host a private party or celebration at the park?
A: Yes! The Dumont Hill Pavilion is a popular space for birthday parties, family reunions, and community gatherings. Please note that amplified music, inflatables, and large-scale events require special permission or additional insurance.
Q: Are restrooms available for rented spaces?
A: Yes. There are two restrooms available for basic rentals of the Dumont Hill Pavilion. There are additional private restrooms also available for an additional fee. Campground rentals may not have immediate access to facilities, as the Oxbow Campground is a primitive site.
Q: What is the policy for nonprofit or community organizations?
A: We proudly support mission-driven work. Discounted rates are available with proof of 501(c) designation. Additionally our Foster Dugas Memorial Oxbow Campground is reserved exclusively for nonprofit groups.
Q: What is your weather or cancellation policy?
A: Cancellations made more than 7 days in advance may be eligible for a full or partial refund. Weather-related cancellations are handled on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us directly to discuss your situation.
Q: Can I rent multiple areas of the park at once?
A: Yes! Depending on availability, you can reserve more than one space (for example, both the Amphitheater and the Pavilion) to accommodate larger events or multiple activities.
Q: Is alcohol allowed at rental events?
A: Yes, but any event with alcohol requires additional insurance to be purchased by the renter.
Q: Are pets allowed at rental events?
A: Pets are welcome in the park as long as they are leashed and under control at all times. Please clean up after your animals and be mindful of other guests.
